  Great Bookstore! Diverse selection of books specially the kids section. They host lots of events during the week, including discussions with the authors of some of the books.

  Good community bookstore. The books are at good prices and they have great community programs.

  A book lover's playland, amazing deals throughout-- the antidote to chains and online shopping. And-- it's entirely staffed by volunteers-- a true community bookshop! AND-- some of the best live comedy and other events to be found anywhere, plus book signings-- almost all of the events are FREE. Worth the trip up to Washington Heights for anyone who loves books. Or just really cool NYC stuff!!
