  can anyone tell me what this is. I found this piece painted this awful brown . I would like to know what the original finish is supposed to be and the year it was made.

  I cannot tell you how incredibly impressed I am with this beautiful shop. As a big fan Of Heywood Wakefield I am blown away at the ability they have to refinish wood. They always have a great selection because Woody has an incredible eye 4 pieces to restore and I just ordered a bed and I couldn't be more delighted thank you Woody so much for all your help
