::We visited the zoo while on vacation in Seattle and were only able to spend a couple hours there before having to leave. It is a fairly big zoo and we had to rush through. I would have liked to spend a longer time there and I can certainly see people spending a good few hours here especially families. I think you would enjoy it even if you weren't with the family. They have a big variety of species in the zoo and they do a great job of the exhibits. I did not try any of the food so I am not sure about that. I would not mind going back to the zoo if I am ever back in Seattle.

::I'm not really into zoos. I've always felt like if I wanted to see an animal I would watch a nature documentary. I feel bad for all the Caged up animals. But the Woodland Park Zoo was pleasant surprise. Not only did my two-year-old love it as expected, i actually had a great time too. Most of the animals live in bigger habitats. So it's a little harder to see the animals, but the animals you see seem to be a lot happier about where they're at. The place is more than just a zoo. It's really great Park to wander around.

::I am not a huge fan of zoos because many of them seem to care more about profits than animal welfare. I can say with complete honesty that I am pleased with this zoo. The animals seem to be well cared for. Their enclosures are sizable and safe, for both animal and viewer. We also enjoyed feeding the small birds. This park took us about 4 hours to get through. I would go to this park again.

::We love coming here. The animals have lots of space (which means sometimes we don't get to see each one). The walkways are wide, paved, and shaded. There are a couple places to eat (good food too). The kids love the animals and the indoor Discovery center. As well as the old fashioned carousel.

::I have always loved this zoo and this last time was amazing. My daughter loves animals! Really really loves them, her room is a veterinary clinic theme, she reads every book on animals she can, went to the zoo camp this last summer and loves going to the zoo any chance she gets. This last week at the zoo we ran into one of the zoologist who are the end of her shift not only took the time to talk to my daughter about the animals but explained how important school was. My daughter really doesn't like math so I asked how she uses math and her answer was more than I ever could of hoped for. Not only in depth but explained so my daughter could really understand it. She then gave us great tips on what to do in the future if my daughter continues her interest in animals for her career. Although I thanked her I do not believe she has any idea on the impact she made or the seed she helped plant for my daughter's future. Thank you Woodland Park Zoo and all of your amazing employees!
