::The food and drinks were amazing. Full bowl of food that filled me up. It was just right. The waiters were attentive and made sure everything was okay with our meals. I'm looking forward to the next time I go back.

::I came to Woodland NY on Saturday for my birthday brunch. I have 3 stars for the club vibe which I enjoyed. The food was good BUT the grits needed help, it was clumpy and tasted bad. The shrimp was good. The Caribbean chicken wings, ackee and salt fish spring roll was delicious, the chicken and red velvet waffle was good. The downstairs area smelled and I agree it's probably a mildew smell. It goes away as you sit there for awhile. I didn't appreciate them bringing out the starters and entrees at the same time. The seating makes you feel crowded if you come with a big party. It feels like you're on top of each other. Bringing out appetizers and entree at the same time doesn't make any sense. When I mentioned it to the man that brought out the food he had an attitude and said he can take the food back. Of course we just kept the food. The table was overcrowded with the food. The waitress didn't check on us and wouldn't stay long enough to allow you to tell her anything or request additional services.

::Salmon burger was delicious but we waited for about 2 hours. The bar/waiting area has no stools so wear comfortable shoes. You must have your entire party present in order to sit. So make sure you stress to your party about being on time. Each table has a 2 hour limit. The DJ is good and it's a great time.

::Finally made it to the "famous" Woodland. After being asked for ID and credit card to be held I thought we would be getting slightly better service. Cold and salty fries with salmon burger on a chewy bun. Unlimited mimosa comes in different flavors. Taste like it's been sitting on the bar for hours. Don't matter what flavor, they all taste horrible. Service was OK. Nobody really catched the fact that we were not enjoying it much and didn't take the time to ask "how is ?". Sadly I will share my experience with my friends and definitely won't be coming back.

::Our reservation was for 7:30. Please beleive me when I say, you must have your entire party present before they seat you. One of our members didn't arrive until 8:45, we weren't seated until 9:10, and we were a party of 11, and the table was only set for 9. 2 of us were standing until a couple next to us left so we could add the table. The waitress informed us she didn't want to start our tab until The other 2 were finally seated because there's a "2-hour limit," which sounded like some applesauce to me because we were originally waiting for a table on the upper level that was also a larger party, that had absolutely exceeded The 2 hour time limit, I guess people will tell you whatever story they'd like. The price point for the food is very fair, and you get a good sized portion. I wish there were more vegetarian main course options vs. salad and apps. I loved the music selection, but if your hoping to actually talk to the people at the table your with, your better off winning the lotto. It's kind of like going to a club that has a full service menu.
