  Pretty safe station, not a lot of security, and no cell reception on the lower deck

  I travel to Mid Wilshire and Ktown a lot and this is a great way to do it. The station is clean and feels safe. Trains usually run on time and the escalator and elevator have always worked for me.

  There is cellular reception on both platforms, a single escalator to either the 2nd or 3rd level platforms making it much easier to get to the train than other metro stations that require walking around a maze of levels. There is also a Metro Customer Service office upstairs, and ample seating areas. You may find this station to be a bit busier than other stations because it's a transfer point between the Red and Purple lines and it's also common to find a lot of homeless sleeping here at night.
