I am a server- so I try to be understanding in regards to service. However, this was horrible! I had to ask my server 3 times for another beer and he kept saying oh right it's coming. I watched him texting and talking to co-workers at the hostess stand all while I waited for my drink- that never came. I ordered a Miller Lite eventually because he had no knowledge of anything on tap or at the bar in general. Not sure if he just doesn't care about his job or wasn't properly trained but either way I recommend you deal with the problem. The food wasn't bad but it just really had no flavor at all and kind of tasted old. Small portions for the price. First time there, may go back but won't go out of my way.

The staff is incredible, and the service is relatively quick for a sit-down. The food itself is absolutely delicious (if you are any sort of a fried pickle lover, you have got to try their appetizer with the ranch -- yum!). Overall, the food is a bit pricy for what you get portion wise, but what it lacks in quantity it makes up for in quality. And for all you Ale 8 lovers, they have the original on tap.

Had a burger and it was delicious. I liked that they have a selection of 4 house sauces on all tables plus the basics. They also have a kids menu (well portioned), and the best chips salsa & queso I've had so far. The place looks great and the reggae music just makes it all the better. Definitely a favorite to me now. It's a shame I didn't visit this place before. If you haven't been yet, you're missing out.

My parents brought me here while I was visiting them in Lexington. I loved the sleek but rustic design of the building an interior. Even though the inside was at capacity, I didn't personally feel like I was being crowded (which is one of my pet peeves at restaurants). The wait for the patio was longer than the wait for indoor seating, so we opted to eat indoors, which was fine. Our waitress was an absolute sweetheart! I ordered the hot brown, which is a Kentucky dish I'd never had before, and even though it was a heart attack on a plate, it was extremely delicious. Two suggestions: 1) We could not figure out how the waiters' areas were organized. Our waitress had random tables all over the restaurant, inside and outside, so it was hard to get her attention. 2) They should come up with a better method of going between the inside and the patio. We were seated near the door to the patio, and half the time the servers carrying trays had to wait for someone to open it for them. I felt really bad for them. All that aside, it was a great experience. Next time I'm in Lexington, I'll be going back to try some of their BBQ!

Went recently for a work outing. They were 40 of us that fit into the side room. The food was awesome. Smoked chicken and smoked brisket were on point. We also had green beans and Mac and cheese. Both were great. The Mac and cheese was firm and cheesy. Not too soft. We also had peach cobbler and blackberry cobbler. The blackberry was a bit seedy and the fruit was tart, but the cobbler on top was sweet and a great balance for the tartness. The peach was just perfect. The fruit was not too mushy and had a good texture. And tasted sweet. Overall it was very good. I like the look of the place and the atmosphere. I haven't seen any live music at the new location, but the music at the old location was good quality, and lots of fun. I would recommend for lunch, dinner, or just drinks and live music.
