  Looking for something different? My daughter set this up and I had no idea how enjoyable it would be. It was a great family outting.

  I have Been on Steves plant walks for many years and love them. He is very informative and knowledgeable and a true expert in his field. His book: Identifying and Harvesting Edible and Medicinal Plants in Wild (and not so wild) Places, is as amazing as the title is long ;) it is BY FAR my favorite field guide. As an herbalist who has studied botany for years I can't recommend the book or Steve Brill more highly!

  The foraging tour with Stephen Brill and his daughter Violet was a perfect gift! It was educative and fun. Every time we learned about a new edible plant, Stephen would give us to try what he cooked with this ingredient - delicious pesto, spreads, chips, pudding... He is also an artist and shows his illustrations of plants during a tour. Highly recommended for botanical enthusiasts!

  Part naturalist, part healer, part chef, part showman, my 4.5 hour long tour with Steve "Wildman" Brill (and his super cute daughter) was an amazingly entertaining AND educational time! Highly recommended for anyone who's interested in learning more about their natural surroundings and eating healthier. I did my tour in Prospect Park, and would definitely be willing to go for another tour with Steve in another park or season!
