::This was the WORST food experience I have ever had. The LOX wasn't edible , they asked me if I wanted onions yes 2 TINY slivers of red onion.. capers? 2 capers one on each side of the bagel.. It was my birthday and could not believe the disastrous idea of a BAGLE AND LOX.. NEVER AGAIN!!!!! They dont even deserve one star..

::Amazing Jewish deli food, only downside is finding seating in grand central market and the pastrami is overpriced - but good, and this is LA, not New York. Some of the one star reviews make me think the people have never had Jewish food before.

::Does not live up to the hype, and certainly not worth the price or inconvenience of getting to. The food was good, but portions are small and considering the volume of options in the food court area I would go elsewhere. Having tried pastrami from coast to coast this was nothing to write home about, which was disappointing.

::The buzz about this place had peaked interest for some time, the lady at the front counter seemed very nice and was a terrific conversationalist. The place looked extremely clean and well kept, after a nice chat I ordered the Ruben as per the lady at the counters suggestion. The presentation of the Ruben was terrific, beautifully cut and stacked, bread pleasantly toasted, and an ample amount of kraut. At first glance this sandwich looked delicious. As I made my way to my seat to join the rest of my family I could smell the Ruben, I couldn't wait, I grabbed my Ruben and took a lumberjack sized bite and in that Instant, I was filled with disappoinment. Before I could get to my seat, the grease had seeped through the bread and onto the cardboard tray, it was literally all you could taste. No seasonings, no dry rub, none of the precious brine that makes the Ruben what it is; just a twenty dollar, greasy, bland, and disgusting but well presented sandwich. The kraut didn't even seem pickled and whatever mystery spread that they used was nearly tasteless but somehow reassembled thousand island. One word comes to mind with this experience; gentrification. The quality and value that had one consumed this market has been mostly replaced with McDonald's equivalents. The "more fortunate" have moved in and any semblance of Hispanic culture that once thrived in this market place is now hanging on by a thread, soon to be replaced by those who are systematically paid greater salaries, giving them the means to segregate from the rest of "us". I digress, this market is no longer what it used to be. Come to think of it, the place was too tidy, I should have picked up on their being no customers around that storefront. I suppose you win some and you lose some. That day, I lost, and I feel, to some extent, we've lost our market.
