it was ok for the night. you can tell its an older hotel. nothing was bad, but just old. check in was easy. was told there was a $10 fee for parking that would get collected upon checkout, but it was never collected. location wasnt the best. i thought it would be closer to the heart of old town for the price it was good, but probably woulsbt stay again.

Very easy check in and room was nice. There were definitely some updates to be made but overall hotel was great for the price. Very easy to walk to Old Town and drive quickly to MCRD.

They messed up our booking and told us the room we had booked for 4 people was not available. After 2 of us booked a room in a nearby hotel, they apparently found the room that they had assured us was not available. They did not offer a discount to make up for the mistake. The room looked nice enough but our friends who spent the night said the shower was too small and the water pressure non-existent.

First off Robert at the front desk was wonderful! We were a little concerned walking down the hallway to our room since it looked shabby. Rooms look like they were recently updated and were very clean but bathroom needed attention. Found mold in several places in the shower, on the tile, in plain sight. For $150 per night on Hotwire I expected a little more. Maybe they're in the process of still updating hotel, not sure.

Decent price but the hotel was in need of some work. There was definitely some maintenance that needed to be done on our room as well as the room my relatives stayed in. There's a good amount of extra space but no chairs to use that space for hanging out with everyone. All in all a decent budget hotel in need of some up keep.
