This place is a crisis center you would think that their staff would be trained to be polite and curtious knowing that they are dealing with family members and loved ones of someone who is in crisis and needs help. Instead their staff is cold, defensive, uncompassionate, and unhelpful not even answer general questions on the admission and evaluation process. The receptionist has a rude demeanor as if you are bothering her by asking questions. When I asked to speak with her supervisor she huff and puffed until she walked out of the room. The supervisor (head nurse) came out to talk to us and was immediately defensive and on attack instead of helping us and answer basic questions. How is this helping the family or the person in crisis. This place is a joke and boils down to the money and not finding legitimate help for those who need it.

I'm going to give them a 2 star rating on their customer service. One lady was amazing. But, the Manager Meredith and an intake personal was rude. The manager had said she heard everything the other lady and I were talking about, so I asked her what we was talking about. She sat quietly on the phone, not knowing what we talked about. She wanted to argue with me about my conversation with the other lady, instead of trying to defuse the complaint at hand. Meredith kept on bringing up that I hung up on the lady. Yes. I did hang up on her. What? She gets to be rude and not me. I did not want to talk to her anymore. That's why I called back to complain. Why do I want to sit there and talk to someone who doesn't want to listen or answer my questions. Meredith and the other lady don't know how to listen. All I was calling for, was to ask them what I am allowed to take. They would not answer my question. They wanted to ask ME questions, not being professional, having an attitude, and basically not knowing to care about what I'm going through. Im looking for PROFESSIONAL HELP and want to go to a place that listens and knows how to talk to people. I don't know how the rest of this place is, but their customer service made me not want to be at this place. I have found another place and will be attending that place. I hope your workers work on their customer service skills. I work in customer service. I tend to about 400 customers in my shift. I know you can't satisfy all of them, but at least listen and show them that you care. If they can't handle that at a place that really needs to do this, then, go to construction. They'll fit right in.

I feel very confident in saying that I truly believe that West Pines has saved my life. As a recovering alcoholic myself, I have been to many different rehabs and detox centers. Some being a little better than others, and the others being down right horrible and almost abusive in my opinion. Of which I was able to make some periods of sobriety. A few months here and a few there. The longest being a year. The others were very typical and felt like they were treating clients from a script. With the treatment center at West Pines, I was paid close attention to and all of my needs and concerns were addressed and taken seriously. My time in the E.R., detox and in their residential care or RTC, I felt very comfortable and safe in knowing that I was being taken care of as an individual and not as a cookie cutter patient. All of the staff including the nurses, doctors, counselors, psychiatrists and even the staff preparing our meals in the cafeteria were amazing. They were down to earth, kind, patient, funny, extremely knowledgeable, and they just straight up treated us like humans instead just addicts. I was able to fit right in with my peers, and we all became close supportive friends or a family as we often referred to it as. After completing my program with West Pines, I can honestly say that I feel very strong in my recovery. And I'm looking forward to the journey of finally living a sober life. Thank you everyone at West Pines for everything you've done and for giving me the tools and confidence to continue fighting for the life I want and deserve!!!

A therapist at this clinic is telling multiple people that she will be with them romantically if they can stay sober a year. When it happened to me I thought I was remembered it wrong because I was on a lot of meds. Then I met others. I confronted the therapist and she said she was worried I was going to die otherwise and had no other choice. . I reported this and nothing happened. The therapist is now in private practice. If they were willing to do this while surrounded by others at a rehab facility, imagine what they are doing behind closed doors. I also witnessed a fist fight between staff members that happened in front of everyone.

Thank you to Patricia for PERFECTLY using your active listening skills, and empathy, to hear my distress when I was trying to find care for a loved one in crisis. After making over 20 phone calls to mental health places all over the state, you were the only one who was able to jump in to action and take some steps that were truly above and beyond. Through all of this, you also maintained perfect HIPAA compliance. My friend got the care they needed, in the time frame that was needed. My friend also reports that you advocated for them to the insurance company as well. Thank you for listening and thank you for acting. To the entire team and staff at this location, I thank you as well! You all went above and beyond.
