  West Charlotte High School is great community to be in there is many great caring teachers and administrators that help with our day to day live inside and out of school. west Charlotte does have its rough patches but that's like any other school no school is perfect. however those who bash west Charlotte and say that it it " the worst school ever" are only saying that A.) because they never attended this school and don't know what it means to be a lion and B.) didn't attempt to build the relationship necessary with a teacher or administrator to get through high school life and now they are upset. West Charlotte is a wonderful school and if you're thinking about it send your kids here. -Shala Hicks (Class of 2019)

  As a West Charlotte Alumni (IB graduate) there is no other school that I would have preferred to attend! Great teachers who care, life long friendships, and unforgettable memories!

  This is a great school with teachers that care. But they get degraded because of some kids that made wrong choices.but if you look up that school history you will find some people who went there and became very successful., for example( Antony Fox whom Obama appointed to a roll of secretary of transportation). (Kennedy Meeks Tar hills former basketball player)and a lot more that I can't name them all. And I my self I went here and graduated 2014.Go 🦁

  This school is not "Bad",but it's the ignorant student's that attend this school that make's it such an unwelcoming place.This school have the most outstanding extracurricular activities and they even have a JROTC class( which I recommend as a Cadet) that contain the respectful and teachable student's. I now understand why the school look so run down and that's because the student's( not all ) have respect for the staff and school.West Charlotte principal announce every morning for STUDENT'S to not walk off campus or fight.She go through a lot of watching after student's as if she babysitting.The school do need an update and to teach us things well really need in the future/on the test's.
