  It is so incredible to see the lack of compassion, caring and professionalism that has infected medical facilities. I came in to be seen with a broken toe and this front desk woman was incredibly rude, inpatient and uncaring ( attitude and breathing heavily while checking on the system). She told me that I was at another location, so I said I will do walk-in because I can't walk (broken toe), and instead of helping me out, I had to wait to sign in after other people that came in after me. It just so disappointing to find these types of people in the medical industry. The facility is clean and easy to find.

  I wish this was a better medical center: it’s close to my house and I really liked the care that I received from Dr. Cox. However, during both my visits I was required to wait an extreme amount of time to see a physician. The second visit that I scheduled was an appointment at 1:00 pm. I arrived at 12:45 and waited patiently in the lobby. After an hour I was brought in to the office an seen by a medical assistant. She told me the doctor would be another 10 mins. At 2:30 pm the doctor had still not arrived and I decided to leave. I may still be waiting there is I had not left.

  Wellstar’s Family Practices have basically become walk-in clinics. From the moment you sign-in, it’s obvious that everyone working there dislikes their job. Staff is impersonal and seemingly annoyed that you’re even there. Doctors and PAs are quick to say you have 15 minutes of their time which is the last thing you want hear when feeling ill. An obvious direction dictated by the Wellstar's business office (which is another review all together). By no means, never, ever question what the doctors and PAs say as you chance getting a good dose of arrogance in return. The fact that you may know yourself better than they do is an open door for their ego to shine through. There's nothing worse than to be spoken down to, even scolded, by someone you're relying on when feeling badly. In the event you need to be seen the same day, the front desk is quick to redirect you to one of their walk-in clinics vs allowing access to your established physician which was the situation in my case. I had all the symptoms for Covid and no openings with my regular physician. The walk-in clinic never suggested a test to see if I was positive or not. They just approached my symptoms like it was a typical virus going around and sent me home. I bought a Covid self-test after leaving the walk-in and sure enough, I had Covid. Wellstar’s walk-in clinics and even their family practices are very limited in what they offer. Once beyond basic remedies, Wellstar will only make referrals to their network of specialists. That would be alright if when you needed a specialist, they could get you in quickly to the best specialist for your condition. Instead, they just tell you to call the specialist’s office and ask for any doctor’s first available appointment. In my case, it took five weeks to see a specialist after being misdiagnosed, then under-treated on three different office visits over the course of a month. Over two months to receive specialized attention for my condition. Misdiagnoses, lack of advanced care alternatives along with a general and obvious lack of caring for the patient is why, IMHO, Wellstar have become more like a walk-in clinic. It's a good chance everyone will need a walk-in clinic at some critical point in their health especially during off-hours and weekends, yet having an established Family Practitioner Doctor who knows you inside and out; is connected with specialists; and doesn't wear their ego on their cuff is very important to have in-place.

  We went to the Urgent Care Clinic on a busy Monday morning and were treated by very professional, courteous and caring staff. Dr. Krunal Jethwa was excellent in his care. He was very through, did not make my spouse feel rushed and took great care of him. We highly recommend Dr. Jethwa and his staff.
