  Double Foul - I've been a member at this location since 2013. A few individuals are kind but the management is either rude or incompetent. In addition I bought a MacBook Air on Black Friday 2017. Despite having more then $15K in the account, Fargo flagged the $1,000 purchase as suspicious and denied Best Buy the money. I went to Best Buy to pick up computer and was told - your bank stopped payment. I called WF and they said it was an algorithm setting off the alert and they would ok transaction. Guess what happens next? Best Buy sale is over, you have to pay full price! Going back to WF and escalating, manager said they would credit my account $277 as I had to purchase at the regular price. Looking at my statements 45 days later "Sneaky Peat" aka Fargo took their money back hoping I wouldn't see their magic act....I met with the local branch manager Ballston / Stafford St who said "so sorry we will take care of this and if corporate doesn't give your the credit we will." Guess what happened? Sorry corporate has the last say and this isn't going to be resolved in your favor....Sure I feel financial violated. Looking back at the service I received and accounts opened because they were selling products to me I didn't ask for...I say - STAY away this situation could easily be you. A local bank that treats you like family is John Marshall. At Fargo You get use to poor service and it becomes acceptable my advise is stay out of the Fargo pool.

  I have been a Wells Fargo customer for my whole life. Same with my parents. I recently parked here to use the bank on a Sunday. I grab takeout from the restaurant next door and returned to find my car was towed. Apart from being upset to pay a fine, even though I was a customer, I was more upset when I followed up with Wells Fargo the next day and received extremely rude customer service. I was told that my ATM transaction did not count as using the facility. I was told that I would receive a call back from the manager, which one week later I still have not gotten. Apart from the lack of signs clearly stating the parking rules, the service at this Bank could be significantly increased.

  I was recently a victim of the relatively widely known craigslist fraud/ scam that resulted in me depositing a significant amount of money into a craigslist's scammer's "movers account" at Wells Fargo. Realizing that I had been scammed approximately 24 hours after the deposit, I began efforts with my bank, Wells Fargo, and the police to recover the deposit before the reversal of the fake cashier's check occurred in my account. At the local Ballston Metro branch (where I had made the deposit), the bank manager (Mayowa) and teller (Porcia) were some of the most caring, sympathetic, and hard working people I have encountered. They took immediate action and worked diligently to help me recover my money after the Wells Fargo fraud personnel conducted a quick and effective independent evaluation (taking only approximately 8 total hours) of the fraud I was alleging. The bank was then able to end the bank's relationship with that individual so as to prevent anymore deposits from unsuspecting victims into that account. Additionally, the bank will no longer allow deposits of this sort beginning in May to effectively get out front of and hopefully prevent these unfortunate circumstances from happening. Finally, I know my story is unique and does not describe the normal course of business that you will have with the bank, but if you are looking for a bank that cares about people (even those who are not it's own members like myself), look no further. You will be treated with the utmost respect here and can rest assured that the bank will take action quickly and effectively to ensure that you are taken care of. I will be forever grateful to the Wells Fargo fraud personnel, but more so to Mayowa and Porcia for being such caring and good people, and helping me prevent these fraudsters/scammers from stealing my money. This is a bank you can trust (especially this Ballston Metro branch), and I hope my story inspires you to conduct whatever potential banking transactions you are contemplating at Wells Fargo.
