Trendy, hipster diner in Tucson that is clean with great drinks and good food. This place was a regular hang out spot for me when I lived in Tucson. Friendly staff, great service, clean restrooms, good decor, great clientele, I mean what's not to like. They keep great beers in rotation, have one of the absolute best burgers in the city and they are not unreasonably priced. The only complaint I have, and seriously this is just me being picky I guess, is that their desserts are usually god awful haha. They have a banana cream pie jar dessert that is to die for, really really good. I tried maybe 5 other desserts there and they were just trash haha. I mean i recommend this place to anyone and if they improve the dessert menu, for me that would be a 5 star but this is absolutely one of the best places in Tucson and well worth your time.

Location was very neat and clean with simple but appropriate decoration for a diner. The staff was attentive and clear and welcoming. The portions are a little bit too small for the price you pay.

Great Lunch!! Alex was our server...great job! Paced the meal nicely.... I had the Three Sisters Burrito and Deb the Butter Lettuce Caesar salad. The Burrito IS as good as everyone said. Everything was freshly prepared and well presented. We are both Pie lovers and Welcome Diner did NOT disappoint. I went with the Brown Butter Lemon Chess Pie and Deb the Honey Oat Bourbon Apple Pie. Alex informed us that the Apple Pie would take about 5 mins but he could bring us the Lemon Chess right away. As we were going to taste each others, we said bring it on. No kidding...this was the best darn Chess Pie we have ever eaten. These are definitely "splittable" portions and that Pie disappeared quite quickly. We really didn't have the room for the Apple so we took it away with us. The food is wonderfully fresh and goodly portions. So pleased we stopped in.

Very eclectic "southwest with a little touch of crazy" diner with living room area and converted garage dining area that I've driven by several times and never visited until this weekend. Came with my husband, our 3 and 4 year old and our 2 friends. Everyone there seemed happy like they enjoyed their job, seated us right away, music was great and just the right volume. It seemed geared towards people maybe in their 20s to 40s or so. Lots of cactus, succulents, southwest/hipster decor with really cool hand drawn looking pictures of southwest themed stuff framed along the wall. They didn't have any booster seats (or highchairs either I think) which made it a little hard for my short 3 year old to eat at the table. I tried the pork belly, mac and cheese and jambalaya and it was all very good. Portion to price was so so. The waiter checked on us a few times while eating and no one minded that we all stayed to visit after finishing eating. The one bummer was that my husband's eggs, sauce and English muffin on his pork belly eggs Benedict was ice cold like it was in the fridge. Not great for his first time trying one. About halfway through he couldn't stand it cold anymore and got up and asked if it was supposed to be served that way. They said no and were very apologetic and took it away but never gave him anything else instead but did take it off our bill. He was a little upset because he hasn't even finished the pork belly (the only thing warm) and was still hungry only having eaten half his food. Everyone there was very nice with good food in general though.

Nice comfortable old style dinner atmosphere. The staff was very friendly! The meals are are either vegan or just plain healthy. This is not a fast style food restaurant, takes a minute but the food is obviously fresh. They do however have cocktail and drink special Happy Hours. Over all I was impressed by this restaurant.
