  When I moved downtown next door to this place. My dog peed on the tree outside one day when nobody was outside. The owner Bob came out to say he can’t pee there with such a horrible attitude I would have pegged him as a homeless person before somebody involved with ownership of the store. I never walked right when leaving the house after this as to avoid him since I’m respectable about when and where my dog goes, including the cleanup process. He’s peed there not even a handful of times, dogs go there every day and Bob acts like he cares, when the same spot has dog poop and Bobs cigarette butts everyday. The second time this happened, his coworker called the dog over wanting to say hello and my dog marked the tree. Now I’ll walk by everyday. I’m banned from here for my dog peeing on public property 1 in 100 bathroom breaks. The block cop said it’s legal to go there and it’s not trespassing to walk by. Every time I’ve heard an employee here talk about Bob they struggle to find nice words, prefacing with, we bump heads but he’s an okay guy attitude. It seems like other business owners on the block don’t like him either but that’s neither here nor there, even Kim Jong Un just needed to change his circle, maybe he’ll find his Rodman and Trump because he’s ruining Wash Ave.

  Fun little coffee shop with a convenience grocery. You're greeted with various colorful flags draped over the seating area, which includes a couple game board tables. Comfortable ambiance, very friendly staff, and they serve Chauvin coffee.

  An amazing place with a genuine hometown feel. Todd the barista is a fantastic human that also happens to be a fantastic barista. He’s a true professional, and he’s a friend to anyone that walks through the door. Very chill seating area with booths and couches available. This is a great place to bring your book or laptop, enjoy the vibes of the place, and get some work done without being jammed behind your desk. A recommend this place a million times over.

  I love coming here to get coffee, there muffins are delicious, I love there unique candles they make by hand here and choice of all types of spices. Wine and cheese cake are delish!

  The Post is a god-send for downtown residents. The groceries are limited but somehow the post always has everything we need when we're missing an ingredient or two last minute. Great beverage selection in the freezer and from the cafe. Their smoothies are some of the best downtown. We love stopping for a game of chess or to chat with a friend or two that always happens to be there. Wallet friendly, dog friendly, and people friendly
