  These people are really helpful. Employees here are more knowledgeable than at the bigger hardware places. Ace is my favorite place to go when I just need a few things for a project.

  I've shopped at this location before however infrequently for the past year or so. Seems every time I go in there, an employee confronts me as though I'm shoplifting. Usually I just leave, with no confrontation, since that's not the type of person I am. I don't like public confrontations, and usually just walk away. Well, I'd forgotten this store seems to have it in for me, and tonight went there. As my husband and i were browsing, various deals, coupons, store deals, etc, I overheard a employee who had been following us since we walked in over the radio saying that we were splitting up and needed another employee to follow as he couldnt watch us both at that point i confronted him and asked to speak with the manager when she came out and tried to convince me that they follow every customer I lost it and walked. Im a ordinary shopper. I will be taking my business to the ace true value on Glendale.

  It's hard to shop comfortably because you constantly got an Ace employ breathing down your neck the whole time. Ease up off of people so they can shop. SMH 😡

  Love Ace Hardware for their easy in and out, their knowledgeable and available staff, and their excellent selection of everyday needs. They don't carry major appliances like the big box stores, but if you ever need a widget to go on to the end of the whatsit under the bathroom sink, Ace employees will be able to find it for you and even explain how to install it!

  I attempted to have my younger brother cash his work check off of my account to save him a few bucks. The teller said they couldn't do that, and he would need to either open a new account, or would need to be on my account. I told him I've never had an issue previously, and when I worked as a teller in the past I was able to do it, as long as there is enough in the account to cover the check amount. Plus this was an ADP check from a major corporation. The teller said they don't do that anymore at banks. I am going to verify at another branch. We decided against opening the account and simply cashed the check right next to the branch, at the money services desk within Fry's. It was a $3 fee to cash the check, and they gave us no issues. It was unfortunate to have this experience at this branch because up until this point I haven't had a bad experience at any desert schools branch in the past 6 years I've been a member.
