  Manager loves racially profiling especially early in the mornings so beware if you are black and happen to be in the store in the morning perhaps waiting for the pharmacy. He sent someone to watch me because apparently he saw me put something in my pocket yet the employee refuses to look in my pockets for the supposed item I put in there and demands I leave. Had to empty my pockets to get them to stop harassing me. Why ask someone to leave because apparently you saw them pocket something but refuse to look in their pockets especially when they willingly offer?

  Worst customer service by Danny! Should not be working with customers! Mahendra the manager came and took care of the situation and apologized for Danny!

  Discriminatory policy as explained by cashier!!! I am not a USC, but been traveling every year in US for few weeks, on top of working for a US based Cruise Line. On many ocassions I have been asked to present my ID (policy that I support a lot), in other Walgreens stores, as well as many other (stores, bars, etc). Since I am not a USC, understandibly I will not have a US issued ID, but I have never had any issue why I presented a non US ID. Today, 02/16-2017, at around 10:15 am - 10:30 am, I wanted to purchase cigarettes from the store you have on College Point Blvd, and the cashier asked me for ID. When I presented my valid ID, the gentleman told me that he can't accept my ID, and that ONLY US ISSUED ID's ARE ACCEPTED AS AN WALGREENS STORE POLICY. If he said that he needs other type of ID (passport, drivers liscence) I could have provided him, but those are not US issued as well! I find that to be quite discriminatory, and gives a message that Walgreens will only service USC customers. I will most likely never enter a Walgreens store anymore, it's not like it's the only option outthere! Thank tou for your buisness for the past 11-12 years, but I would rather spend my money in other buisnesses where I will not be discriminated because I am not a USC. I am not illegally in the US, never had, nor have any thoughts of something like that, but I did felt today like I was an illegal visitor in your store for the first time in my life. I have traveled in over 60 countries so far, and never had nay issue.

  Im grateful for the store because I can walk there in 5 minutes & the store has a few "organic" food items! & Under 2$ candles! & Ben n Jerry's ice cream! And store provides several other useful essential daily items + the prices$ are reasonable & The employees are courteous at that store @College Point (I go to this store maybe 3 days a week & I never have had to wait in an unusually long line @the store) The store is clean & convenient for me - that's a plus & has a "photo lab" that has perfect gift ideas
