The person behind the medicine counter lied to me about what my insurance covers. So apparently walgreens were giving free flu shots, and I specifically asked the person about whether or not is this covered by my Aetna student insurance. The person told very clearly (atleast twice) that the flu shots are free, but I later got billed for those shots. Such liars make me never trust walgreen's staff with my medical needs. Do not be fooled by them. They can lie to you can you can get charged hefty amount by walgreens later

Nice friendly employees, been going there since 2004. Never had a problem.

In general, Walgreens tends to run a bit more expensive than 7-11 or CVS but the customer service here is super nice. All the staff are really nice so I'd recommend people go here!

Living in SF, means there is always a Walgreens around the corner. My partner & I often shop at various locations out of convenience, and many employees at other locations are beyond sweet. But we will NEVER go back here to shop, no matter how convenient! I was accused of stealing when I placed my headphones in my bag. As a brown person, I'm always made to feel that I'm being watched when shopping. I try to dismiss these thoughts, but I still do everything I can to be "perfect". If I ever need to grab my phone from my purse or place my sweater in my bag after a long walk, I stand in the middle of the aisle or near an employee. Maybe just maybe, I won't be targeted. My efforts didn't matter. I didn't matter to them. They saw what they wanted. It hurts and I or anyone shouldn't have to experience this. If you're in the area, avoid them. I recommend the Walgreens on Kearny (between Post & Sutter). The employees are thoughtful and always remember us.
