One of the best Waffle Houses in town! I recently came to this location and my server Meka was AMAZING! She was so kind and made sure I was taken care of the whole time. My T bone was cooked to perfection, along with everything else! The rest of the staff is SO hardworking. When I came in this past week, I saw every member working as a team. The servers were on top of their tables and the cooks had food out in minutes! Everything was so nice and clean, and they decorated so nicely for the holidays!! They have a juke box for music and good parking. It’s right next door to Comfort Inn hotel.

Headed to waffle House about 11:00 on a Saturday morning so we knew it was going to be busy. Sat down at the bar and we were instantly greeted by staff. They have a great team working here the energy of the staff very upbeat very happy everybody looked like they were having a good time working which makes for a wonderful breakfast atmosphere. Thank you for a great breakfast.

To those people that live in the south, "Waffle House" is a household name. They are EVERYWHERE. And with well over 2,000 locations, primarily situated in the southeastern part of the United States, this no-frills, greasy spoon, cholesterol induced comfort food has been filling up Americans since the 1950's. The location I am focusing on is located on Sycamore View Rd. in the east part of Memphis just a mile from Highway 40. Since I was flying in from out of town, my hotel was in close proximity to this particular Waffle House. I came here on the evening of Friday, September 24th 2021 at around 10:00pm and was starving. Since the dining area was closed for the evening, I went to the walk-up window and placed my order. I ended up going with a breakfast platter that consisted of two scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns, white toast (that included jelly), and of course their famous single waffle. Prices here are affordable beyond recognition; my whopping platter with a soda only cost me about $10 for everything. All my food was ready within a very quick 5 minutes. Once I took the quite drive back to my hotel, I immediately was flabbergasted just how much food they give you here. Everything was piping hot and ready to be consumed. The eggs were cooked perfectly while the toast had a pretty hefty amount of salted butter prior to my spreading the sweet jelly over it. Bacon was greasy as expected as I assumed this stuff was cooked in lard. Hash browns were crispy on the outside with a soft texture on the inside. The waffle was fluffy and sweet and with their own house syrup, that only compliments to the added sweetness. This place is true southern comfort food at its finest. I can only imagine the amount of calories, sodium, and cholesterol I consumed on this platter as it is not the type of food to be eaten every day (or in my case, at night). But for the price, portions, and overall taste of this classic American staple, I was definitely not disappointed. My rating for the Sycamore View Rd. "Waffle House" in Memphis, TN is a solid four-stars.

We had a blueberries and pecan waffle that was cooked perfectly, crunchy edges but buttery soft center, the eggs were over medium, sausage was well done and hash browns at a perfect crisp. The cashier last night was a young girl, very pleasant demeanor, knowledgeable, and fast. I definitely will return

The food was good but I was disappointed that only 2 dishes had waffles. We ate at the Bar and when the employees spray water it got us wet at the bar. No one wants dishwater sprayed on thier meal. The employees were super nice but the parson doing to go orders was having a hard time and 2 orders left without getting thier meals.
