  Very trendy, loud, upbeat lobby with friendly staff. Small but fun rooms, coffee service on request, good quality toiletries. Our room overlooked an old church that was very cool to look at while I worked at the desk. Bed was a little soft but still comfortable. There are more than normal cosmetic damages to the room

  Wonderful staff and great view - we could see Ground Zero from our window. A bit sad that this very first hotel that started the chain 20 yrs ago will not be branded as W hotel anymore.

  Could not find parking so parked down the street and walked to the hotel. Was cheaper. Neat modern hotel lobby. Check in was friendly and fast. Room was a bit small but was comfortable. Great view overlooking 911 memorial site and freedom tower. The view was worth it. Bed was large and comfortable. TV was kind of small but the snack area was well stocked. A couple of restaurants nearby but took a Uber everywhere I went. Over a nice stay.

  I stay here every few weeks for work. Very good SPG property that is within walking distance to most of the Financial District. Front desk staff is extremely warm and welcoming. Rooms, beds and, bathrooms are what you would expect from any other W property and of high quality. Had a great gym that is quite spacious compared to most hotels in Manhattan. Gym had 9 cardiovascular machines including a rowing machine which was unique along with a nice cable machine and a leg press. Hotel bar was on the fifth floor and was very nice with a swanky, club feel to it. Overall very good hotel.

  The location of this hotel is amazing. Steps away from all the world trade center sites as well as the statue of liberty and wall street. The lobby is very nicely decorated and has a great modern look with great music. The lounge is very nice but the drinks are on the expensive side (even for NYC). Staff was pleasant and the rooms were nicely equipped. However the rooms are showing their age a little. Lots of scuff marks on the walls and damaged carpet. Overall though the issues are not enough to ruin the stay. Id recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the downtown area.
