::Wonderfull memorial to all the dead from the US navy and Merchant corps in the Atlantic campaigns of WWII. The eagle stands out so well against the Manhattan backdrop and with magnificent views of the Statue of Liberty this is a great place to take time out and reflect.

::What a magnificent memorial with perfect views of the statue of liberty. We came here foe views of the statue, which were amazing. There is plenty of viewing room and away from the immense line of people going over to the island. We couldn't justify it, seeing as as soon as you get up close you miss so much. This memorial was an extra that we didn't know existed! Go see it.
