TLDR : Customer service below the bar ! Rudest and disrespectful staff ! Ended up wiping out my insurance and out of pocket dollars ! Stay away! Worst experience ever ! So worst that I created my first yelp account to write this review to communicate the scam ! I visited this place because it was super close to my apartment and covered by my insurance provider ! Ended being a pathetic experience with customer service below the bar ! The facility & equipment The Dr’s office is in lower level of the building. Due to this there is a constant vibration where it makes eye prescription diagnosis super difficult ! Reason being, when they ask you to read from a mirror of text, the mirror is always vibrating and shaking due to the building . This makes it increasingly difficult and challenging to read the text and calibrate lens and eye power ! I strongly feel my prescription is so wrong due to these calibration errors ! Optical Consultant She’s is really super helpful in finding you the frame you like ! She really works with the customer to find frames that would interest you ! 5 stars just for her ! Office Manager I would call this person a scam artist. I placed the order over phone for my contacts, she kept telling my the cost of discounts and rebates as $90 after my insurance and taxes. She even convinced me that these prices are better than online. When I picked up the contact lenses , I ended up paying $240 only to find out that there is a notional hidden discount of $150 for which I have to fill an application form and mail it to the manufacturer Alcon and who would in-turn give me a VISA card with $150 credits. Who the hell asked for a new credit card or a prepaid right now ? All she had to do is tell me all these hidden coupons and tricks upfront to the customer . She had another chance to tell me while I was placing the order. The scam is , she said “It’s $90 after discounts, rebates , insurance and taxes” . But I have to pay the store $240, and take up the case of processing my $150 discount from the manufacturers. Dear Office Manager , pls learn that you tell the amount to the customer for what he owes you for your service. “You do not have to calculate finances and give advice on how much the customer end up paying if he applied loan/ coupons / credit cards etc which does not apply at your store and have to be processed elsewhere” . Basic economics , “HOW MUCH DOES THE CUSTOMER OWE THE STORE TO TAKE THE PRODUCT?” . She denies all this and says she mentioned “after rebate”. The certified ABO optician She comes in defense to this scam and says “we have done everything correct and you don’t feel grateful for our help here , pls return all your contacts and frames and cancel this order” Her concept of service is so so skewed , she really thinks she’s doing community service here and thinks I wasted so much time . I spent like 45 mins together in two visits. I placed an order of with at least worth $800 utilizing my insurance and out of pocket . As a customer I do have the right to ask few clarifying questions to best use my insurance dollars. She just outright cut me off saying I am not grateful for all the great service their team is doing and was super rude in insulting and sending me out. Since I was traveling , I ended up giving into their scam and walked away. I am strongly in thought of even perusing legally for the way business is run in this place ! I have written proofs of what was quoted to me and what I ended up paying. Overall, WORST EXPERIENCE. I am finding ways to communicate this review to their upper management so that they take some action !

I really don't like this place. I was recommended this business by a coworker, and I've been very disappointed. When I went for an initial eye exam, the optometrist was not particularly welcoming or friendly. After I'd finished my exam, I went to pick a frame and staff was very pushy about frames that I clearly said I didn't like. After placing my order, I came back in a couple weeks to pick up my new frames, and as soon as I put them on, I told the staff member that I was having a hard time focusing with the prescription. She insisted that it was correct and that I just needed to get used to the prescription. I've worn glasses most of my life, I've never had my vision get _worse_ when I put on new glasses. After explaining that it would be hard for me to adjust to the prescription when I couldn't even wear them without seeing double, she wrote in big letters in my file that *PT refuses to wear. Come on. I'm not being belligerent, I honestly can't wear them for more than a few minutes before the prescription problem becomes too much. I will not be coming back to this business for my eyeglass needs. I will be finding a place that isn't going to act like I'm being irrational when I can't wear a pair of glasses.

They have hidden fees and add extra charges. When it was said and done, the frame was supposed to be 100, but there were 300 extra in hidden fees, and what's more, they don't even itemize the receipt. They just give you a bill and you're left wondering how a "professional" company could rip you off so well while looking you right in the face the whole time

I've had a couple of eye exams at Visions Northwest and been very pleased with how attentive everyone in their office is. They do a great job of explaining everything so you know what they're doing and why. Thanks for keeping my cruddy eyes in as good of shape as possible!
