This is a terrible terrible and worst ER of all times! The staff, although courteous, is absolutely laid back with no sense of urgency for an emergency room. I took my husband with a profusely bleeding wound on his hand and the staff made sure to keep him waiting for almost two hours before taking him for an X-ray. After another hour they finally started working to stop the bleeding. We arrived at 7:30 pm and were able to leave that God forsaken place at around 11 at night. The nurse was not able to give clear instructions for taking care of the wound at home. In fact, she advised me WRONGLY to discard the splint after 3-5 days. We later discovered that the splint has to be there for 15-20 days. It is an absolute joke of an ER and should be banned from treating patients. I want to give them -10 stars had that been an option here. They must be reported for inadequate practice of medicine. 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾

Excellent doctors, nurses and staff. Everyone makes you feel comfortable when you're feeling your worst. There was hardly any wait time both times I went in. Doctors were able to find out what's been bothering me for years in one visit & recommended a great follow up doctor. The second time I went in I was taken care of very well for a horrible migraine. Thank you to the Team at this location!

I’ve had a handful of ER visits unfortunately, but without a doubt, this has been the best, most efficiently run ER I’ve seen. Sure you might have to wait if your issue isn’t as urgent/life threatening, but they do their best to make you comfortable. A lot of people who are complaining have issues that should be address by urgent care —NOT the ER. There are steps here people. I was sent there by my urgent care doctor, and even though I was in a lot of pain, I can understand that everyone is just trying their best. I’m okay sitting in pain for another hour if it means another person doesn’t die. I was extra impressed with the phlebotomist who did my bloodwork and inserted my IV, incredibly kind, really knew what he was doing, and even though I could tell he was a little stressed, I saw he worked well under that pressure and in no way took it out on the patients.

Compared to my experience at GWU ER on a Monday night at 8PM, and coming here at 1PM on a Tuesday…I am amazed at the difference. I was checked in for a head injury, vitals, registration and doctor saw me all within 40 minutes. You also get your own waiting room if there is availability. Nice touch with the skylights. The reviews are either really good or really bad here. But I would suggest this ER over GWU anyday. Thank you to Nurse Tram and Dr. Redmond and her assistant.

The nursing staff here is extremely rude and condescending! Don't expect ANYTHING you know about your own history to be acknowledged let alone respected! If you ha e any basic questions about your treatment or movement through the hospital, prepare to be attacted and ignored if you ask for a charge nurse to address the nasty attitudes of any of the ER nurses or staff. To keep it even more disrespectful, refusing to give us the nurses name to make a formal complaint! I guess they are more concerned about protecting I know there are staffing shortages, but clearly some of these "nurses" need to remember their duty to provide care and comfort NOT yelling, making baseless accusations, & completely unprofessional aggressive behavior towards sick patients and their loved ones!
