  As I can’t respond to the claim by the owner that there is “BS” in my review, let me clarify some things and this is probably why this store sucks with comics books. The reason I waited 2 weeks to pickup my comics is because the books are released every two weeks, on Wednesday. If you knew even the slightest thing about comics you’d know that. I asked for flash 47 both variants, flash 47 was released yesterday and I went in YESTERDAY to pick them up. The fact that you didn’t put in the order or somehow don’t know that that’s how comics work isn’t my fault, sooooo, Yeah get your act together. *Original Review* So I stop in this place to check out their comic selection. Really not much there but I speak to one of the guys in the store and he tells me if I start a pull list there, they'd get me whatever books I wanted, in mint condition. The only thing was that I had to pick up my books promptly. He then tells me I have to email them my contact info and what books I want to start my pull list. I do so, fully expecting my books to get there. 2 weeks pass and it's time to pick up my books. I swing by yesterday, and no one can find my books. Then I get told "ohh, it takes two weeks to get your books" which was never explained when signing up. It was clear no one knew what was going on. I gave this place a shot as it's a local shop and I wanted to support. My mistake was thinking I could trust them with books I needed and now can't find. If you're looking for comics, go elsewhere

  I got a sweet carnivore record here my first few months in the neighborhood and knew my wallet was doomed since. Great selection of comics and music and anybody who loves dogs is A-OK with me. Now that I live further away I have to make time to come back soon.

  This is my favorite place in Bushwick, they always have a great selection for any kind of comic or zine fan or are willing to order for you. I always stop by whenever I ever can just to chat to the owners and see cute pups. Did I mention there are always dogs there, super brownie points!

  Great store with amazing curated selection of comics - in fact I was hoping that this could be my regular place as person who is newly into comics. Unfortunately, I will not be coming back and will be buying on Amazon or other comic stores in the city, because after flipping through comics I was essentially told to leave. The policy seems to make little sense from a business perspective - I don't understand how telling customers off for looking too much at comics is actually going to encourage them to buy them...let alone buy them from your store. If you don't want people looking at comics in your store maybe put them in a glass cabinet? Was planning to drop a good $50 on a book for my boyfriends birthday. Oh well...

  Nice store with some cool indie titles. I'm leaving a negative review because after I *briefly* flipped through a couple books the guy at the counter called over "this isn't Barnes and Noble dude, buy it or leave" and then turned the music up so loud that I couldn't talk to my friend anymore. I actually was very interested in buying something but it made both of us feel kind of embarrassed and uncomfortable, so we left. I understand from the store's perspective it might be frustrating to have people look and not buy anything, but I'd like to point out that that's the nature of running any kind of business that sells a niche product. Even Barnes and Noble... Edit: I also see that management has a history of writing passive aggressively viscious responses to negative reviewers, so I look forward to your feedback 😉
