::I’m an African-American male. I visited Vintage Harlem today - not my first time - to get a couple bottles of Sauvignon Blanc. As soon as I walked in, a young man behind the counter immediately asked in an unwelcome tone, “you know what you want”, no greeting. I responded, yes I do. I went to the cooler to get the wine I wanted and proceeded to the counter. As I was making my purchase, I heard the young man welcome a new customer - greeting him, “how are you sir”. It was a white male. I commented to the young man that he did not ask the new customer “you know what you want”. His response only verified that the greeting I received was based only being an African-American male. It’s shocking - but not really - that stores in Harlem today discriminate and do not appreciate customers of color. People of color should boycott this store - I know I will.

::Adorable neighborhood wine store. Pro-dogs. Friendly staff. Wine tastings Thursday Friday and Saturdays.

::Rarely does one come across a wine store that isn't pretentious. There is no pressure and no judgment at Vintage Harlem. Staff will assist if you need it, but will also respect your desire to be left alone.
Mellie Davis
::A great place to pick up a bottle of spirits or wine. They also have a great 3/$20 selection.
Erik Mayo
::Great selection. Friendly staff. Delivery. What else could you ask for.
