eventhou they are not traditional Italian they have good food. Great wine, cheese and cured meats selection. The wine menu is endless.

This little place is such a gem. The environment is lovely, romantic, and casual. The cured meats are simply stellar, with a wonderful assortment of cheeses. They have a surprisingly extensive wine list. And I have yet to order a dish that I didn't enjoy. The staff is knowledgeable and personable. I can't think of anything negative to say. I like everything about this place. Oh, and it's very affordable too. See what I mean?

I've been here twice in the past 3 weeks. Both times we're wonderful and the food scrumptious. The service is on the spot, perhaps a little unrefined, but the kind of service where you may share a laugh with the staff and feel better for it. They have an extensive wine list, as they should. I was really impressed with the choice of meats and cheeses. Some unique small plates that should get special note are the Farrow salad, which is a unique perfect combination this delightful beats added in, and the eggplant crostinis, which again have a balanced flavor profile, are Unforgettable and unique. I live a few blocks away from here, so imagine we will be having many more dining experiences at this lovely restaurant.

Dinner was exceptional until the check came out wrong and was justified to a very low degree. I'm not a restaurant owner but a respectful business man for over a decade of success and can guarantee over charging for the wrong amount of wine because of a sip that was taken prior to noticing is inexcusable. After kindly explaining to our waitress that the wrong amount of wine was brought out after a couple of minutes, our waitress grabbed my wife's glass of wine in exchange of a new one and left mine since I mentioned I took a sip prior to noticing. Once the check came after dinner, our waitress tried to sell me on the idea of taking a small sip prior to noticing that I needed to pay for a 6 ounce rather than a 3 ounce even if I ordered just a 3 ounce. After she spoke with someone and corrected my check, she never mentioned a word ever again to us and gave my wife and I the most disgusting silent look. Not even a good bye while watching us leave. I have a strong reason to believe the Owner(s) is making the waitress pay for the small difference of $3 or $6 wine amount after she went and spoke to someone to correct the check. If that's the case, what a terrible misconception of believing customers eating at this restaurant would intentionally order the wrong amount of wine and then try to save $3 or $6 when spending over $100. This message is for the Owner(s), please believe you'll loose a lot more money than a couple of dollars that your employees had to eat because of the attitude provided by them due to the misconception of diners wanting to save $3 or $6. I've made sure my family and I including all my close friends and colleagues will never eat at this restaurant again. I don't blame the servers for their nasty attitude quite as much as the Owner(s) who cause this to happen by making the servers pay for the mistakes. You may want to reconsider taking money out of your employees check with the audacity to believe diners are trying to take advantage.

Perfect Italian in Houston! Great appetizers and main dishes! I stopped going for Italian when moved to US as everything is oversaturated with butter and cream and had no authenticity - this place is really opened up the Italian cuisine for me! So much recommended! Tiramisu was too sweet though ...
