We recently had to take our Shepard to Fresno Vet Emergency on Fresno St it was on a sat afternoon from her having multiple seizures, I was very impressed with the service we had as they took my Cali in asap and Dr Strickland was very Professional as she thoroughly explained reasons that could be causing the seizures and what they would recommend as far as treatment. Cali did spend the night and we picked her up 24 hrs later. It's been a week and no seizures and Cali is starting to get back to her ole self. It's pleasing to know that the staff truly cares and shows alot of compassion for our loved pets. Thank you for the help when Cali needed it oh and I got a partial refund on the payment I made, true honesty on top of it Thanks

If I could give less than that one star I would. Useless receptionist with zero people skills. I live an hour and half away. My dog was having a reaction to who knows what and was drooling quit a bit. I wasn't sure if I needed to go or if it could wait and as the round trip would take forever I called for advice if I should be rushing in or wait until the morning which was 4 hours away. The response was "it's your dog and up to you" no the nest thing to say to someone who is freaking out. I hung up and took my dog to FVSE on Blackstone and Herndon just because I was so upset. They were amazing.

I took my cat in for something I thought that was rather urgent, though totally treatable. The vet realized right away that his symptoms were not normal for diabetes, and, though my budget was extremely tight, suggested the appropriate course of action to determine that it was NOT his diabetes acting up and that something far more serious and, unfortunately, not treatable was happening with him. She was compassionate, caring, and treated us both expertly with experienced guidance. I received a condolence card a few days ago and couldn't bear to open it but I just did and they sent me his paw prints. I could NOT be more touched! I cannot tell you how much these paw prints mean to me. Abel was my family for 14 years, my service animal, and one of my closest friends. Thank you so much.

If you care about your pets do not take them here. They overcharge and it seems they will only help you if you're willing to fork over your money. Once, you tell them you can't afford their tests, they seem to brush you off and not even care what you have to say. You're better off going elsewhere. If I would have taken my pet to a different vet hospital there is a good chance she would still be here with me. If you love your pet/pets don't bring them here. Do yourself a favor save your money and save your time. Do not recommend this place to anyone.

I have probably had one decent experience when one of my dogs broke out in hives. But other than that, I don't have any good words for these people. I took my puppy in for his eye. Now, about this little guy, he found me at about a month old, not being able to walk and nothing but bones. I noticed his third eyelid started to protrude and wanted to do anything I could to keep it from getting worse. The fit's emergency night I went there, the doctor couldn't even understand the situation. It was as if he was shy to be around me and didn't know how to answer my questions. Nothing was really done for my poor baby except told what it possibly could be. The next night his eye was worse and I rushed him back. This time the vet was a woman. She ignored every single thing I was telling her about him. And instead of focusing on his eye, she was focusing on how he was partially paralyzed. I told her his condition and that that's not what's worrying me at the moment. His eye was disappearing and a tumor was taking over. She didn't even seem concerned about that. He was prescribed eye ointment and a blood test was done. He was also prescribed so much medication I couldn't believe they would make a five month old puppy take all this. Then she talked about this special test that she wanted to do one him but it would require sending the sample to New York and it would cost god knows how much money. I was told I would receive a phone call in a couple days. Well, for one, he didn't have a couple days and two I never received a phone call. She was so damn cocky and thought she knew everything. Usually if a vet could not provide a service because they didn't understand the problem, they referred me to a vet that could. I had to end up putting my little guy to sleep days later.
