Unfortunately the great find I thought I'd purchased off the sale rack turned out to be something I'll be embarrassed to wear due to what appears to be a stain from red wine or similar. It was on the upper back of the printed cardigan so wasn't apparent when I tried it on; also the lighting in the shop isn't very bright so this stain that had attempted to be laundered out but was still visible didn't show up very well in the store. It wasn't until I got home and put my purchase on a hanger that I noticed it immediately. Nowhere on the sale tag or rack did it say "as is" so you would assume you are purchasing an item that isn't stained or defective. It isn't returnable, having been on sale, per the receipt. That might be good information to have near the sales rack also - along with "as is" so that the shopper knows she needs to HIGHLY inspect the garment. I am extremely disappointed that I bought a sweater that people behind me will be commenting on when they see the stain, assuming I don't know it's there and making my wearing of it seem incredibly tacky ... so, I guess the entire purchase was a waste. The shop seemed nice, like they had a good selection of items, and the staff were personable which in a way makes it even more upsetting that they didn't mention this garment had a light red stain the size of a computer mouse on the back of the left shoulder. Surely they must have known about it. Very poor approach to service to the customer. I can't confidently shop there again wondering where the hidden fault in the garment is. Wasted money.

Coolest vintage boutique in SF... I visit every time I'm in the city! Cindy (the owner) has a great eye and her prices are really fair... I always leave with a treasure :)
