  While it may seem weird to compliment a funeral experience, that is exactly what I plan to do. Joe and his staff at Vander Plaat-Caggiano in Fair Lawn, NJ helped to make a sad, overwhelming time as pain-free as possible. Once they know your preferences and you have given them direction, they guide you in an almost effortless a manner. Every aspect of my father's funeral went off without a hitch. Their attention to detail made his funeral, from the viewing through the entombment with a military send-off to the repast luncheon to the encasement of the American Flag a memorable, although of course sad, period of time. My father was able to be viewed and remembered and buried with with grace thanks to Vander Plaat-Caggiano.
