  Typical government entity. Some window dressing applied since corruption was exposed, but nothing much has changed inside the clinics themselves. Patients are greeted a bit more friendly, but that's just part of the deception, to take control and hopefully change your veiw of the bureaucracy. It's still the same bureaucratic can of worms full of self centered administrators and supervisors only interested in how to better entrench and protect their positions while scheming how they can move up the chain.

  The issue is the VA workers at the front desk,just a few days ago I know they open at 8,a guy was working in his computer and I went to ask a question. He had this attitude and the lady next to him was telling him they shouldn’t be answering questions bc they aren’t open yet. He was explaining like I wasn’t there that these vets keep coming up snaking questions. Ok I was just trying to find the right area (tma office) their attitude is uncalled for,very low and easy job they have. Yet some how they’re under so much work,bs. F ya lazy mfs. You got vets just to ask questions and ya get an attitude. Bunch of bums, that area needs new workers. The Tma section down the hall is great though (that’s where you get tests,blood work etc) f the front va desk stuff mf

  I've seen other VA hospitals and so far this one is ran well, it does have issues like any other hospital and need improvement in the pharmacy and specialist departments. It takes too long to get your meds so I just have them shipped to me. Getting referrals is pretty lengthy and cumbersome. I use the Eastside VA Center and that one is just the jewel of the El Paso VA system. RN Rosa is just super caring and amicable and will make you feel right at home.

  The employees here spend more time chatting and having a good ol time with each other, instead of helping vets out.. Government employees at their best. 2 hour wait time for meds, 3 month appointment wait time, and doctors that love to push pills and avoid sending you to specialists. I dont understand how these people still have jobs.

  Reached my limit today the VA sucks, they pass their vets around like they are a piece of meat, I've been on the phone literally all day trying to get answers for my dad , it's reached a point 99 percent he's gonna lose his toes possible his foot because noone has listened to him or me in the past month all they give is I'm sorry, too f bad, to sad, here's a f Tylenol go home, we'll call u back motherffffff blah blah blah. I'm through I'm tired of being nice, I'm not a bit** but I have had it, I'm done this has taken an emotional and physical toll on me and my dad, I'm calling newspapers, pt advocates if I gotta go to Congress I will our vets should not fff be treated like this they deserve better, they fought for this country and they get she** on everyday it's bs. Rant over
