::The staff and service here are first class. Applied for my SSA - and I only spent 20 min in the office. It was delivered to me in the mail in a couple of weeks. Smooth as silk. Even the security office at the door made everyone laugh. They open early. Recommend you visit early with all your relevant documents and application form for a quick and easy visit to beat the crowd.

::Reached here at 8 am on a Thursday and was out of the facility in 12 minutes flat. The security both at the entrance to the office as well as the building were extremely helpful and jovial. The lady checking my documents was extremely grumpy but I'm not really complaining as she completed her job fairly quickly. Definitely recommend this center - it is very accessible from Fulton center.

::Went there this morning for my wife to get her new SS card after changing her name. The security guards were two of the nicest, most outgoing people we've ever encountered. Completely the opposite of the experience we expected going into a government office in the city. The woman that helped her was great as well.

::I required a card service, and I specifically went to this location after reading the reviews of the one in Jamaica. Well worth it, as everyone in the office I interacted with was friendly, helpful, and even funny at 7:15 in the morning. I was able to get in and out in under 10 minutes thanks to the office being well run. If at all possible, go to this location for card services. Even if it is farther out of the way, the likelihood is that your wait will be less and more pleasant.
