It's located on the 3rd floor. Must go through security first. Lines to through security is most of the times long. Especially of you arrive in the morning during rush hour. There is a cafeteria on-site

As an Immigration Attorney, I travel to the Immigration Court in Boston, MA on a regular basis from New Hampshire. If you have a morning hearing please give yourself at least an additional hour of travel time for traffic and for clearing the security entering the JFK Federal Building. The Court itself is on the 3rd Floor of the high-rise. The last ten miles of the trip can take a full hour when the traffic is bad (e.g. an accident, or inclement weather). Finding parking can be another task; my advice is to pay the very expensive rates for garage parking ... because driving around in endless circles looking for a legal "on street" parking spot may save you some money but it may also stress you out and/or cause you to be late. Afternoon traffic heading into the city is generally not as bad -- but it is still advisable to give yourself plenty of extra time to make it to the court. Finally, the relatively low rating I have given has nothing to do with the quality of the work of the judges, clerks or staff. It is merely a reflection of the difficulty of accessing the court from ME, NH, VT, RI and Central MA. USCIS has opened up offices in Portland, ME; Bedford, NH; Providence, RI; and Lawrence, MA to improve public access. However, the Immigration Court has stayed put at government center. I assume that has much to do with the budgets of the respective agencies (USCIS = Dept. of Homeland Security and the Immigration Court = Dept. of Justice). In any event I hope readers find this review helpful.
