I just walking in to us bank branch this location and bank was empty. No one is there. Who is working on office table. He told me I have someone for 45min. But I didn’t see anyone. He told me ; I can help you tomorrow morning. Time was 3:30pm . Than I just drove to northeast 4th Renton wa location about 3:40pm and the lady worked 2 people.than check to time ( 3::45 pm ) and she told me ; I can not help you because someone has appointment. But again bank was empty. No one is there. I just want to know. Why it is difficult to open bank account or painful. Who is walking in to the bank.. I’m a customer of us bank about 3 years. And I’m coming back to open new bank account again. This is worst experience. If the bank customer need to get appointment every time. Please let us to know or print and hold a attachment on the bank window door ( get appointment ) …

Had to make a cash deposit for a retail location's business account and what should have been a quick acceptance of legal US currency into an account designated by professional deposit slips provided through US Bank became a 20 minute hassle. First, the teller requested my ID, which, fine, sure, whatever. But, then, I was required to give my SSN, my position, and the status of my employment (full- or part-time). Again, to deposit CASH into an account. I asked the clerk why I needed to provide this information, and he simply said the system required it. I asked how this would be processed if this was simply a drop in the night deposit box, and he stated that the information is only required for in-person deposits. WHY IS IT REQUIRED AT ALL, US BANK?!! Just take the money and put it in the account you agreed to hold it in! So, for turning my 3 minute transaction into a 20 minute transaction I now know to simply avoid any human contact at the bank. I look forward to the day when you no longer have tellers to delay the processing of a basic transaction.

I had a very strange experience today at this branch. In short, it was awful customer service, not necessarily just for me, but for an older hispanic couple, a bit challenged with the English language, this couple walked up to the drive thru window as they don’t have a car. Older blonde lady appeared to be extremely annoyed to serve them. It was painful to watch. As for my transactions Lana finally sorted it out, as per Lana the blame goes to the “glitchy system” of US Bank. I have been a business owner for 30 years and a US Bank customer for over 20 years. I can be persistent and get my things done with a smile. It took a few minutes longer but worked out for me. If anyone from this branch reads this review, and would like to know more about the strange incident I will be happy to oblige. It will be a long story if I try to describe it on this review.

I use U.S. Bank for my personal checking, savings, and two credit cards. I like their no annual fee Cash Plus credit card because I can choose two categories like cell phones or home utilities to earn 5% cash back on my purchases in those categories. When I redeem points on their Flex Perks card, I don't get charged airport or airline fees. You can also use points to pay for the annual fee. I can find a branch in most neighborhoods and cities like Bellevue or Redmond. Unfortunately, I can't recommend U.S. Bank to my QuickBooks customers that I set up, fix, clean up, train, and provide the software for a discount because unlike other banks, you can't download their transactions directly into QuickBooks desktop Pro or Premier like Chase, Bank of America, BECU, and other financial institutions at no charge. What's so difficult about enabling that?
