  Good food and cocktails, excellent whiskey collection. Bartenders were quite knowledgeable about the whiskey selection, as was our server. If you're coming on a busy night and want some of the more unusual or hard to find whiskeys, be prepared to have patience and prepare some alternative choices; otherwise, if they're out of your first couple of choices, it can take some time to get your drink. It might help to give your server 2-3 choices in order of preference, so they don't have to keep coming back. That said, they do try to accommodate: they were out of one whiskey in our flight as well as the first substitute we ordered, so instead of making us wait longer, they replaced it with something comparable but offered to change it if we didn't like their choice--and that was on their most expensive flight of whiskey. All in all, great experience, and the staff was definitely focused on creating a great experience for the guests. I'll gladly go back next time I'm in Chicago.

  One of my favorite places to go drink whiskey (knowledgeable bar staff across the board, with one of the largest collections of American whiskey), and the shows on thursday are always entertaining! Between the burlesque, consistently great live music programming, and the whiskey, highly recommended. I don't go much on the weekends, but that's more due to the weekend crowds than anything.

  Great place to have dinner or grab cocktails if you're in the mood for something a little different. I was there in a Friday night. They had a full band with a burlesque performer in between the ban breaks. The cocktails at the bar are well made and tasty. All in all a good time.

  By far the most disrespectful bar I have ever gone to. We showed up 3 minutes late for our reservation and they said they could no longer seat us but they would try. We sat down at the bar to wait. My friend went back to see if they had an update. After getting sass from the hostess, she said we were there for a military farewell party as one of us was going off to the Navy in less than 2 weeks and they really wanted to go here to celebrate. Their response was "We don't care." That is extremely disrespectful to say to someone who is willing to sacrifice their life so you can enjoy the freedoms you have. A better response would be "I'm sorry, we are extremely busy tonight and there is nothing we can do. Thank you for your service."

  Swanky, good restaurant in River North. Atmosphere was really neat. Food was good, presentation was excellent. Fair prices. Would recommend larger ice cubes for a bar that prides itself on cocktails, particularly whiskey. Overall, would recommend to a friend.
