  This is my favorite hardware store! I have never asked for anything they didn't have. Which is amazing because it is such a small store--with stock on shelves that reach to the ceiling. The staff are really helpful and friendly and always ask me how they can help me as soon as I walk in the door. I guess that's what a small family run business is all about.   I have lived in neighborhood for years, taking my business to several hardwares in the area...University has NEVER failed me. When the part is NOT available it will be ordered for the next day or another longer, reasonable amt. of time. Its worth the wait surely beating the bother of trucking around on one's own. Staff has ALWAYS BEEN HELPFUL, POLITE! FIFTY STARS!!!

  They have many things, but also really bad service. They are not that cheap.
