::Others complained about the security pass but I was in and out in a minute. The post office is just like any other- just leave any weapons/pepperspray outside. 👍

::On December 28, I mailed an overnight envelope with a signature requirement, over $100 worth of reprinted photos, a complaint form and a 7 page letter, which I will never remember the timeline of occurrences, to rewrite on from Clyde Ohio post office. Next day tracking showed it being available for pick up at this post office. It was going to the Board of Realtors and that office was open on the date it should have been delivered and wasn't. It sat for a week because there was nothing left at that office for them to know it was even at the post office. Clyde tried many times to contact this office. Ten days later, it showed being delivered on Sunday, January 8 at 6:34 am, signed by, what's believed to be a postal employee! The Department of Commerce has NO employees on the weekend and that envelope is nowhere to be found. The postal service has become unreliable, fraudulent and deceptive. We should all take a step back and start using FedEx or UPS to ship and stop wasting money on a useless "service".

::I ship from my ebay sales. The FedEx across the way is better. The location is convenient but the hassle of going through security isn't.

::Went in during my lunch hour. I interacted with three security guards, all three were friendly and helpful. When I got to the desk, there was a sign that said ring for service. After I finished getting my parcel ready to ship, the lady in front of me dinged the bell and someone came out to help us. The mail clerk was extremely friendly with both of us, and even went the extra mile to confirm that the passport application I was sending had the extra money added to the check in order to pay for the expedited services I was requesting (as I had written "Expedite" on the front).

::The prior comments are true. Instead of building a wall and allowing public access to the post office and screening for anyone going to the other agencies, you get to go through the screening to get to the post office. Today removal of my belt, shoes, and lanyard were not enough. I forgot my watch and wallet resulting in me getting the extra and attention from the security guards. My bad. Once inside, everything was fine. It's just their security is overboard for mailing a box. I understand the need for their security measures for this building. A better approach is to move this branch to another building that does not need security screening. (Another fine example of One Size Fits All not working.) I will avoid this post office unless I can take the time hit and extra hassle. My rating is a 5 for the Post office service and a 0 for the security screening. The average becomes a 3.
