  Very pretty train station for Amtrak. Close to the US Capitol building and some hotels. There are cabs outside. Inside there are places to buy food before getting on the train. There are some homeless people outside, but that's to be expected at any train station.

  Decent place to catch a train. Don't arrive in or depart from the taxi line -- use the Metro exit to the street, it's much quieter. Good places to get breakfast or lunch while you wait.

  Just had an amazing experience with Tammy at Customer Service. My train was delayed due to a wreck and I had to get to Philly for an appt. No one else would even take the time to listen, much less help. But she was able to get me on a different train to get me there in time. She went above and beyond and was extremely nice the whole time.

  There's surprisingly a lot more to do here then expected. It's pretty clean in comparison to almost any place like it. There's a selection of places to grab a quick bite to eat, or just to relax for a minute until you go wherever you plan on going. The station itself is in good proximity to a lot of good places in the D.C. area but the traffic is still annoying when you're trying to cross the street :)

  A nice place. It was very beautiful from inside. There is a village made in small inside. There was even a Christmas tree inside it. I wondered around to find several stores. There is a train station as you go more to the inside. People can buy tickets to tour buses (it is a good way to go around the city).
