  This is the worst health center i've ever seen or heard of in this modern world. My aunt was taken here with life threatening issue. She's selfless and have a lot of people depending on her but she met a heartless group of workers who didn't care. The unprofessionalism of the staff and doctor is to the roof. Life is precious and until it's your family member in that situation, you'd feel that person is just another life or just a statistics. I pray you all find yourselves in a helpless situation someday or your family and maybe you'd learn some life lessons. Put some love in your profession and develop a heart for your patients. If you don't, you're not fit to be in the health profession and your life doesn't count because you're not making any impact in this world. If you've chosen this profession, know that you must be selfless, compassionate, and caring without boundaries and bias. Without these, you're just wasting your time or working because of the money. Life is precious and everyone cares about their family like you do. Thank you.

  My daughter and her friends were in a bad car accident last evening. They are students at Bowie State. When I tried to FaceTime my daughter to ask the nurse a question she was extremely rude. I wanted to know if a CT scan or x-rays were taken due to her existing medical condition. Nothing was done to make sure she had no internal issues and discharged and released without even a neck brace even though she hit her head and blacked out and don’t remember anything. Just horrible!. Please DO NOT go to this hospital if you can avoid it. They do not care from my experience. I need to get the chief Dr info along with the CEO of this facility. I will follow up to get this information.

  I’m guessing because of all the bad reviews, people decide not to frequent this facility. In which was my experience, because there was not a sole person there when I visited and sat in the room for THREE HOURS waiting for lab results. The Doctor roamed the halls with his hands in his pockets without any update after waiting the first hour and half. My restless wife had to pull one of the nurses just to get an update that they would have to run the exact same tests again! For this to be Bowie, was unbelievable…

  I brought my grandmother here because she was experiencing Covid symptoms and was told that she didn't have Covid, a week later she's still experiencing Covid symptoms so I decided to create her a patient portal account to see if it's anything else there to see why she's still experiencing these symptoms. First thing I see is she does have Covid and now is out of the window to receive the medicine for treatment. Worst ever I will never return nor recommend anybody else to come there.

  Bowie Health Center was very disappointing my 76 year old mother was seen for a broken ankle they set it and sent her home refused to admit her to a hospital after seeing her vitals were unstable. They stated she didn’t meet the criteria to be sent and admitted to a hospital. Horrible judgment! My mother went home and got very sick we rushed her to another emergency room hospital in Calvert County that took excellent care of her. The doctor in Calvert County was shocked that my mother was sent home they had to perform emergency surgery on her ankle as it would have healed incorrectly. I would not recommend taking your family member to Bowie Health Center.
