  My experience with shands has been good. First time patient and have to say the staff and doctors are great and treating me with nothing but kindness. Thank you shands!!!

  After taking my sister to the trauma center, as suggested by urgent care dr, to have her rt foot set and for the necessary surgery, this facility has allowed their doctors to put her out in left field. They put her foot in a splint, took a ct scan to verify the smashed bones gave her 14 pain pills and basically has left her. The fracture happened in the first week of March. The swelling is down and those horrible blisters have drained. She is unable to walk, drive, work, crawls to the bathroom. I doubt seriously that she will ever gain full strength and ability to walk. I pray that this trauma center knows what they are doing. They are leaving her in this condition. I suppose when they remove the splint she is suppose to walk on her own.

  There are not enough words to express how dysfunctional this place is, dirty!!!! Like why do you even have janitors? ! They don't do anything but watch the trash on the floor multiply and the dust grow. The doctors can't get on the same page about anything and can't for the life of them not lose a chart let alone read it. One doc says one thing, the other says another. The students are unprofessional The nurse staff are bullies and don't care even if you are a "fall risk" And don't want to help you. This place is like staying in a prison. And there aren't enough words to express how awful it is, and all the issues they need to correct. Let's not even get started on waiting times... A 12:15 apt shouldn't put you leaving at 7:30 at night. Seriously. . Scewwwwww this place! If you are sent here RUN LIKE HECK! IT'S A TRAP! If I could give zero stars I would. Worst hospital in Florida.

  I need to speak with someone from leadership. I don't not want to speak to anyone in the patient relations department. I have coming to this hospital for decades. I've never once experience what I'm going now. I would like to speak to the leadership team and administration department. My phone calls department is being blocked and I keep getting tranfer to patient relations and I have issues concern that department. I went into the administration department Office to explain and yet again block. ASAP matter.

  The Doctors are Great. They show a caring disposition towards their patients. They also utilize state of the art medical equipment to access what's best for their patients. I am A Heart Patient & with the help of God and U.F. Health I am here today.
