    I have received good care from my providers at UChealth, however, I am leaving a low review due to UC Health rescinding its universal mask mandates. I am respiratory compromised and COVID could be deadly for me. It baffles me that UC Health administrators would put disabled people like myself at risk when the pandemic is still very much ongoing. I imagine they are going to leave some kind of patronizing comment in response, pointing that individuals can still wear masks (ignoring the fact that 2-way masking is much more effective at preventing infection), or they will say certain areas still require masks (did you know: immunocompromised people still have to receive healthcare from other parts of the building!). They will ask for kindness, while offering none in return to the people they are putting at risk. I love my care team, but I think there is a clear lack of moral reasoning at the administrative level of UC Health. I am not willing to recommend an institution unwilling to protect disabled people and who engage in systemic ableism putting us at risk because some people find masks annoying. Please reconsider the decisions you have made.

    Everyone here has been nice loving caring people. Especially the cardiology department. Really smart great people, that have been amazing 👏 wish I could say more good things but words just don't do justice

    My mom went in for surgery. The doctors and ICU nurses did a great job!! Dallin was the RN in her first part of ICU he was on it and made sure to make her feel like she was number one!! He did great answering questions and concerns. He made time to talk and get answers if needed. He was so great about getting her food,drinks and whatever was needed to be comfortable. In the middle of the night she was moved to floor 7 and it’s was a nasty dirty place food on the floor, sticky floors in her room and side table was nasty dirty. For being in a unit for brain surgery and not being clean is a really sad reality. We have to make sure our mask is on not to spread germs but not clean up a room for a patient. As we have been at this hospital for 4 days and the same dirt and food was on the floor in the waiting room we had to sit in for 12 hours. As for elevators they are just as dirty and fingerprints on everything we have been to many hospitals and this is the dirtiest one we have ever had to hangout in. As for works or staff they have been extremely rude and not nice at ALL. One more thing you have family come In to help with family and we can’t even get a free water as we wait for surgery and recovery just crazy.

    I went here for the first time today as a new patient and for an emergency prescription refill. It was a great experience from check-in to doctor visit to pharmacy. I thought the free valet service was an awesome way to assist patients with getting in and out of the hospital as the regular parking in front of the hospital was closed due to new parking construction. The only thing I would say is that the scheduling folks seem understaffed, but when they responded, they did me a solid and booked me in an open slot to see the doctor same day (since it was an emergency). Great staff, but like anywhere else nowadays, need more staff or the business needs to streamline processes so they don't work as hard and can process more patients without killing themselves.

    I've been going to this hospital for about 20 years and have only had two primary care doctors this whole time. My doctor knows me and my health history. She is thorough and I feel like she cares about my well being. Beyond the great care my family and I receive, the facility is clean and very nice. I appreciate the artwork throughout the hospital to include photos, paintings, a quilt hung in one of the departments, and even the pictures/stories on the elevator doors. The Pharmacy has friendly service that is usually pretty quick. I visit the gift store almost every time I visit the hospital, they carry a lot of interesting things in there. The Lab has a short wait time every time I've been there and I have the same experience in X-rays. The food is pretty good. Between both cafeterias, there is a wide selection of foods and beverages. I love their sweet potato fries. I received my COVID booster shot during the mass appointments at the auditorium in the Inpatient Pavilion. It was a very efficient operation with the line steadily moving and plenty of staff to help in the process. There is a lot of construction right now to build a parking garage in front of the Outpatient Pavilion and more construction for additional parking in the garage closest to the Inpatient Pavilion. I haven't had problems with parking because build in additional time (as directed in the app and online).
