Horrible customer service. Waited until 10:45 to be called back. Apt.@9:50. 3weeks process to get an mri and exam. Doctors don’t G.A.F. Waiting room always packed. 0/5

I rarely give bad reviews but I was not pleased with my experience here. My doctor referred me here for a ganglion cyst in my wrist. The first doctor I saw (I think Petrides) was nice and receptive, but she wasn’t able to perform the cyst aspiration so a second doctor, some dude, came in. I explained to him that since getting the cyst my wrist often hurt, felt stiff, and my fingers sometimes feel numb. He said none of those issues would be from a ganglion cyst. I asked if I could have carpal tunnel and he said no, not likely because my age. I kept asking questions trying to figure out why my hand/fingers would hurt or feel numb and he seemed unreceptive. I felt humiliated, like he didn’t believe me that I had these symptoms. He then did a bad job at aspirating the cyst (I still have it). They lied in my notes, saying there were two physicians present when he aspirated which was not true, it was just him. They also said they explained what to expect after the procedure which was also not true, they didn’t tell me if I’d have any pain or for how long (I did, for a few days). When I messaged them asking why it said these things they ignored me. Funny how he made me feel like I was lying about my symptoms yet he lied in the doctors notes. I wouldn’t recommend.

I’ve definitely had more ortho surgeries than the average person! Dr Grawe has done all 3 and I have better range of motion and restored use of each appendage than any other person I’ve known in the tri-state. By far the best ortho surgeon in the area!

The office is named "orthopedics" but they don't have a wheelchair for a 65 yr old w/a broken ankle using crutches on wrists that had two surgeries. The med tech said he would make sure I didn't fall, while walking 10' ahead of me. 🤕😵‍💫

Update and Edit-I am absolutely apologetic. This was a simple miscommunication on my behalf. The physicians who have been tending too me had nothing too do with my paranoia. They had no intentions of doing what it was that I heard. An too be absolutely honest I was somewhere between half sleep and half awake due to my medications. They made sure I ate, stayed clean and no there was no talk of anti-coagulants in the form of which I expressed it. I will remove my review, it was genuinely not fair too them and I reasonably was coherent enough too comprehend what it was they were telling me. Now that I have rested (as suggested by the Ortho Residents) I now understand that they meant too send me home with anti-coagulants in the future not in the near present. They wanted too make sure my surgical wounds were closed before I continued taking the anti-coagulants, which was not there plan for today. May the blame of miscommunication be placed on my short mental capacity under medication. I never had a surgery where I could walk and move in the first week until I was cared for by the Orthopedic Residents at UC.
