  NEVER Go here. They are incompetent and dishonest. THEY USED SUPER GLUE TO STICK A DIAMOND BACK ONTO MY FIANCE'S ENGAGEMENT RING AFTER THEY HAD BROKEN IT, THEN TRIED TO COVER IT UP. My fiance took her engagement ring to this business to be re-sized. This was a very expensive, vintage ring. This jeweler clearly lacked the expertise to be working on it. At some point during the sizing, they compromised the integrity of the ring and popped out one of the side diamonds. Apparently they tried to repair it and couldn't do it, so they went for some super glue. My fiance saw the person performing the repair walk outside and back in with the super glue, but did not think anything of it. They had super glued the diamond back in this very expensive engagement ring as opposed to properly attempting to fix it or even admitting that they had damaged it in this way. To make matters worse, they basically taunted and teased her by talking about how nice and shiny it was, stating that they had made it even shinier than before. One of them even said to her, "try not to blind yourself in the sun with this shiny ring." They laid it on really thick, which ultimately made us both feel foolish. My fiance did mention later that she felt like they were rushing her out of the store while saying way too many complements about the ring. Now we know why. Later that day she called me to say she discovered they had put super glue on the ring. Upon closer inspection, she saw they had damaged it, glued the diamond back in, got glue elsewhere because it was sloppily done, and sent her on her way without saying anything besides how nice the ring was now. Obviously they hoped she would not notice, and that when the glue eventually wore off and the diamond popped out, she would think it was somehow her fault. We returned to the store, after calling, and confronted the owner (who did not even want to come out to meet us), who initially refused to refund us for the work until we got angry, upset, and pointed out that his employee already promised she would refund the cost of the sizing work. The lack of care and apathy was disturbing. The owner even admitted he just wanted to get my fiance out of the store with the ring, so he just stuck some super glue on the diamond. Clearly he did not see this as a big deal, but he potentially ruined a very valuable and special engagement ring with his incompetence, then tried to cover it up and demonstrated no shame over doing so. Regardless of the fact that we received a refund, we remain dismayed by this sort of dishonesty and unprofessional behavior. Thank God we found another, highly competent jeweler who was so upset and angry about what they did to this ring that he repaired everything for free (it took him a full week and a lot of structural integrity checks to get it all done properly). I would hope no one would risk visiting this business, unless they truly do not value their jewelry or their dignity. I would give 0 stars if I could.
