This place is an absolute dumpster fire. I am overpaying these people for one of many unaddressed work orders that have long left this gym in absolute depravity. It is as though I am in the old cartoons where a character plugs a leak in a dam with their finger only to have four other leaks spout out. These people overcharge you for a pool that only recently opened after about 4 months of malfunction and closure. The bathroom in the pool is still closed, the jacuzzi recently shut down after less than two weeks of being back up, the drinking fountains are always failing. The one pictured in this review actually has no sign on it anymore but it still doesn’t work. It’s as though the owners of this establishment have neglected it and are not even hiding their neglect of it anymore. Still they will overcharge you for your membership to their dilapidated gym. Also, THERE IS NO DECLINE BENCH PRESS. They have a lot of fancy bells and whistles and not something as basic as a fixed decline bench. If you want to work out in a collapsing out of code engineering nightmare of maintenance neglect and pay people a stupid improvement fee for a gym they can’t even keep operating in its basic utilities...look no further. At least the staff are okay, otherwise I’d title this -10 stars in my review. So for the staff, it gets a one star.

The value just doesn't quite match the cost of membership at Tru Fit. It's hard to justify paying to use this facility when the pool is perpetually out of commission. The staff was unable to provide me a status update on the pool repair or an estimated date of completion. I regret signing up for membership despite the fact that my employer covers 50% of it and am hoping to exit the contract and go to Colorado Athletic Club a few blocks away, where the pool actually works.

Gym is okay. Staff are friendly and good, classes are good, towel service is nice, and the convenience of the downtown location is good. Negatives: a little pricey, you pay a facility fee every gal for upkeep but no upkeep appears to be done, outdated machines, have not changed the shower curtains in the three years I’ve been there, and things seem to be “out of order” a lot. The culture seems to have changed to being very much a “bro” culture recently. I watched some dude hog up a machine and take selfies for at least ten minutes the other day. If you need a decent gym with a lot of amenities (when they are working) at a downtown convenient location that does have good classes and friendly staff then this is a good place. I gave it three stars because the positives are more than the negatives.

I actually really like this place. Management is making it a point to fix the pool and hot tub issue for good and the staff is very helpful. The views are nice, and they still offered free parking for an even longer duration the originally offered even though it's across the street. I really miss the pool and want it fixed but I'm sure they'll get it done within a month. And for the price you pay, you really get a HUGE value.. even without a pool and hot tub. Arut's boxing classes are on point.

I came here for my swim laps and this location is arguable. This particular location has a problem with cock roaches lurking around. I had to report an situation to the main office that there was a dead one inside of the pool. Additionally, the pool needs repairs rather frequently, and as a result, this will take a long time and therefore I'll have to go to an alternative center that offers a similarly sized pool. When the pool opens back up however, it takes days to warm up to average temperatures, so in the mean time it is close to freezing. This location recently changed it's parking lot validation across the street to a bus station and it is highly recommended you do not travel down the stair case but through the ramp or elevator inside instead. Otherwise, the staff is decent. Tru-Fit is a good company but this location has to pull itself together.
