Actually my experience was great. Got my passport fast as hell and was able to change my pick-up to grab it in DC instead of in Boston. Travisa's support was great, even when the process was unavoidably crappy

Because of the horrid reviews on here, I feel the need to say that Travisa did an excellent job assisting me with my visa application to China. They were thorough, easy to reach, and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend them to help with any visa need.

Paid for service so they could take care of paperwork but still had delay after delay. filling out other paperwork and then not returning phone calls or email looking for updates that now going to miss flight at more cost. did not have a problem before but this was ridiculous. paid for expedited service and still after 1 1/2 months still no visa.

Terrible visa processing service. They quoted a 10 business day processing tim, but. I'm at one month and still don't have my visa. After repeated calls back and forth I discovered the only value add Travisa provides is to send a currier to the embassy each day to pickup whichever visas are ready. They don't actually communicate with anyone in the embassy itself, nor do they provide any information as to when the visa is expected to be processed. Had a known this was their process, I would have submitted my visa myself and saved the $900.

This agency almost single-handedly cost me a job. They were unclear about what I needed and forced me to ask my employer a dozen different times for more documents, then called me a week before departure to inform me that they could not get me a visa. I worked through a different company, whose agents readily knew solutions to the issues Travisa had been unable to overcome. Maybe for some countries Travisa is competent, but if you really need to get a visa I advise doing further research.
