Had booked this place in hurry. Very old hotel. Had to request room change twice for some or other issues. Old heating used to make scary sound. Though front desk guy was very patient and polite. Three star only because of him.

Room and the people was very nice. I suggest taking your own pillows. Theirs weren't very comfortable. Parking across the street wasn't bad. Overall it was nice and we'd stay there again

Older building. Price and location can't be beat. Does have steam radiators for heat so you may hear the occasional bang and clang. Deep tub with really hot water but little in the way of water pressure. Really easy to get to places to eat

Not the fanciest hotel you’ve ever been to but it suited our needs: something moderately priced but still within walking distance of all the fun things. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly and responsive. There’s no need to pay exorbitant prices for a room you’ll hardly see while you’re in town. This place is certainly a viable alternative.

A huge room with king bed, refrigerator and microwave. Probably best bang for your buck in downtown Chicago! It's an old building but appears to be well kept by the owners. Steam heat is awesome but a little noisy at times. Didn't bother me as I am a Steamfitter so I know this is normal. Fast elevators for such an old building too. Good restaurants right in the building + lots of others in the neighborhood. Close to the convention center too. Overall, a very good experience and zero buyers remorse!
