::Trader Joe’s is a welcome addition but the shopping experience can be poor if you go at the wrong time. The store gets extraordinarily busy particularly after work, the lines wind through the entire store making moving around difficult and a very long wait to pay. Fairly small selection of fruit and vegetables, and a substantial amount is pre-prepared and heavily packaged.

::Trader Joe’s does not love New York. If they did they would equip their stores better. Lines that wrap through the entire store are infuriating. There is no express line for people buying few items. They do not restock popular items fast enough. They are not well-equipped to answer to the demands of a city this size. Don’t even try to go on a Saturday—google said they were not too busy—I have been waiting in line for 30 minutes and am not even half way through. I gave them 1 star because their employees are generally very friendly but that can’t make up for their other failures.

::After moving to NYC, I've grown to appreciate Trader Joe's quite a bit more. That being said, I'm still mildly annoyed at how often they under stock certain food products. I know it's a highly trafficked grocery store, but at a certain point if broccoli is out of stock every Sunday afternoon, then maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea to order more for your next shipment. That being said, I still love the place. The people there are generally pretty friendly, and the store normally has everything I need.

::Tell me of another place in midtown where you can buy a 6-pack of beer for less than $8 and I'll drop a star off this review! Trader Joe's has a relatively small selection of goods at a reasonable price. Plus, you will always find a special offer. My rent went up after they opened this place...

::Always love this place! Love the organic food, all those cutely packaged snacks and munchies and the pizza! Seriously, try the frozen pizza. It’s really good for a box of $4! I also love the sourdough and the raisin swirl here. Yummy! I usually go here for the alkaline water. The best so far I got around NYC. Only $1.69 for a big bottle of 1.5l. Very healthy, pH 9.5, perfect for your hydration.
