  Classy cocktail lounge above the Mark Hopkins Hotel. We popped in here for drinks after a Social Distortion concert at the Masonic. There were six of us and they were more than accommodating. Our drinks came quickly and they were cool enough to let us aqueeze in one more round before closing. Their vodka gimlet was one of the best I have found.

  A lovely place to get a drink, as other reviewers have already suggested. Do: go on a weekday (less crowded). Don't: be shocked at the prices (remember that you're paying for the view rather than the drink). I recommend the 'dark and stormy.'

  Went here for Sunday brunch, which was $99/person before tax. Here's what I got:1) unlimited champagne, 2) a buffet of: caviar, cured meats, cheeses, and an assortment breakfast foods (benedicts), lunch foods, and dinner foods. 3) a very talented live pianist (he even did covers of top 40 pop songs). 4) A view where you can see almost all of SF and much of across the bay

  The view was worth it! point blank. but the food was a little high class for my taste. Service amazing and live music had us singing along! this is a must in San Francisco!

  In regards to the Sunday Brunch: There are other places with more delicious food for the $100 per person. But it was an acceptable experience to do just once. They kept the buffet very clean and fully stocked the entire time we were there.
