  Went in looking for a tube. The bike mechanic replaced the tube for me. Quick and painless.

  Kevin the mechanic makes this place Great. He's relaxed, but you can tell he's all about getting your wants/needs met to keep you riding.

  I was commuting to an important appointment when I realized my derailleur was out of line from a dropped bike earlier in the day. Next thing I know, the chain jumped off and got wedged between my spokes and my cassette. Lucky for me, I was only a block from Top Gear. I showed up carrying my bike and the guys at Top Gear dropped everything to put my bike on the repair stand. I called my appointment and told them I was running late. They had to take the chain off, straighten the hanger, and re-align and adjust derailleurs, brakes, cables etc. The mechanic was so fast, but also so thorough, that I was back out the door in under twenty minutes. I managed to get to that appointment on time. I totally appreciate a bike shop that understands commuters and our need for prompt service. Thanks, guys!!

  I decided to buy my bike on a Saturday. The guys were great and very helpful, but I could only pay for half. The next day (Sunday), I went to finish the transaction and get a tuneup before I wheeled my bike out the doors. The staff there that day were very poor in terms of customer service. One guy would not stop complaining and the other tried to get into a fist fight with him. This ended when the first man started to cuss the other worker out in front of him and told him to leave the store. I was very close on just walking out the door with my bike half done and getting it tuned up somewhere else. Probably not going back.
