Ate here a couple weeks ago with my boyfriend. It was on a Sunday night and there was a live jazz band playing. The place was pretty busy so we had to wait for a table to be cleaned but it wasn't long. We both ordered the chicken teriyaki and it was good. Came with a bowl of white rice, miso soup, tempura, friend shrimp and dessert. The tempura was especially delicious. The atmosphere was nice and I enjoyed the live music. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall the experience was nice, food was good, and it was inexpensive. I believe the bill came out to approximately $30. Not bad for a whole lot of good food.

Me and my girlfriend went to this restaurant to see a jazz performance. The atmosphere was good, the only reason why I didn't give it a 5 is because we had to wait to be seated, didn't know we just had to sit down also all empty tables were dirty so had to wait a while not to long. Overall the experience was good but the food was delicious. We both ordered the chicken teriyaki, was very good!

Has a fun funky atmosphere, good food and run by a very nice family. If you want a place you can have a drink next to an eight foot Godzilla, this is the place for you

Go ahead and stop by if you want no service and want to wait 30 minutes to be ignored over and over again. Sitting at a table I got no service and was there for a show ready and willing to spend money. I went up to the bar and waited patiently for 25 minutes after I waited for 30 at my table... No joke. Only reason I waited was because I was there to see a show. Then I finally hailed the 1 single bartender down and got a drink. Still needing water waited and waited for the server and finally flagged her down to be told no you can go to the bar.... Went to the bar and was told you can't order water here! I said well I wouldn't have but your server basically told me to f myself. NO SERVICE AT ALL!!

My husband proposed 25 years ago at this restaurant. Now our family of 5 are still coming and enjoying ourselves. The food and prices are great. The owners welcome and talk to you like you're part of the family. Thank you Tokyo Garden for wonderful memories.
