::This place has the most intimate karaoke bar setting I've ever seen. Never a long wait to grab a drink. I believe they only do karaoke on Fridays and Saturdays, but it's always a good time. Really easy to spot the regulars from the Tinder dates. Drinks are on the $$ end, but it's a great place to end the night! If you stay late enough, they send everybody home with a bottle of their branded water. It's kind of adorable.

::Meh. Saturday night karaoke that should have been way more fun than it was. The regulars sang at regular intervals, we listened to the same five people over and over... our table sang two songs in two hours. Playing darts was more interesting than waiting to sing. Overpriced, weak drinks are the only thing this bar can call authentic to Tokyo.

::One of the great things about Tokyo Beat is that it is open until 3 AM and it serves take out food. If you want to enjoy some classic Little Tokyo nightlife then the Tokyo Beat karaoke bar is where you should go. The bartenders are very friendly and will sing karaoke with you if you are shy. They serve drinks and food quickly. Toyko Beat also has private Japanese-style rooms for karaoke party groups. They are a bit on the expensive side, but they are nice and sound proof. They work great if your group doesn't want to be disturbed. The only drawback is the quality of the food served. The price is a bit high for something similar to instant ramen. If you are allergic to fog machine smoke, then avoid this place because they have it running most of the night. The servers are kind though, so they might understand if you have an allergy.
